The record player in my bedroom was good enough for Grand Funk.
In Boston the GTI had a woofer customized in the hatch
the pullout Kenwood deck arrested theft and
the Nagamichi speakers blew out rock ’n roll.
Several years later the speakers woofer and head unit were removed 
without my permission before my return 
to the Manchester long-term lot.
The Ram had four 2-way 6-inch Boston Acoustics and two 8-inch JBL subs
the Clarion deck was loud and clearly good enough. 
Installed in Ruth’s Golf along with a Power Tube in the hatch
she returned it broken by her boyfriend 
Boston Acoustics repaired with the warranty
then the joy listening loud to Joan Armatrading
a nerve or something caught and I cried in the sound.
