Mike Sarcia (Sah-shuh) was assigned to the Quest account 
when I joined the team he promptly heaved it off to me 
nor did he introduce their network technology 
he was stone deaf to enquiry.
During a team meeting after I’d been deluged with Quest
I asked if others had workloads as impossible to heft
and silence ruled the room.
Mike watched a movie every day while eating lunch at his desk
he watched his computer screen and listened through a headset
after he finished eating
he changed into bicycle gear for a mid-day ride.

it was announced he wouldn’t be a manager anymore.
Within a year after being laid off he got a job at Verizon
