Two weeks after I began at Data General 
the hiring manager announced her promotion
(her goal was to get promoted) 
my new manager recommended I widen my reputation 
out to lunch with colleagues more often-
that was the force toward the BBN Lightstream and Cisco
one-job continuum.
Sure, Sonus isn’t much but the lunch team holds firm 
as the job gets worn.
