when all the squares are sold and named
label the columns randomly 0 through 9
likewise label the rows.
Across the top of the page write the name of the home team and
write the name of the visiting team left of the rows
then the teams play and 
mercy what a game or
even if it’s dully lopsided 
convert the score of the home team to its ones digit
for example 23 becomes 3
convert the visitor’s score in the same way
for example 10 becomes 0
slide your finger down the column labeled with the home team’s score
stop at the row labelled with the visiting team’s score.
