desperate to pee un-velcro the rain suit
unzip the jeans hurry up
then the dry warm indoors

peanuts chocolate bars and coffee revitalized
in the foyer looking out
a few moments more
then the damp helmet
the soggy gloves
the constant drizzling
and nothing else.
