The 2017 daily poetry book at Kinkos

last year the store clerk asked if
there’s a contest for the poems
he said he likes to write
a novel when he was out from college sick
he’s now studying cyber security
his sister has a master’s writing degree
I said it’s satisfying to write even if it’s only for yourself
it is wonderful to be written out and later discover
the person you hope to be.
