It’s better now
maybe better than ever

in Boston with a dog and two little kids
we were too many for walking much together

Amherst country roads had no sidewalks and no shoulders
never mind mosquitos

walking in Nashua
we can walk on this side of Concord St.
we can cross Concord to other neighborhoods
we can walk to French Hill
the families there are outdoors more
my wife embraces them with her inside love
she expresses her joy smiling at the parents and kids.
