a Brooklyn weekend with Amanda and in the morning 
a ferry to lower Manhattan
then Dracula in Prospect Park with Philip Glass 
on Sunday a ferry to Governor’s Island where
celebrating Bastille Day
we felt lucky two old dads visiting Dave’s daughter
I wowed her with Kendrick Lamar’s Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe
now a couple years later let’s return for another weekend with her
but David says Heather wants his company exclusive Saturday night
suggesting round trip Sunday
subtract that contraction David
let’s go another time and stay a night.
