T is the letter on the reddish-orange ball cap we found
I might not remember the color correctly
I don’t remember who found the cap
it was mom Cheryl or me
nor do I remember where it was found 
I have a memory-sense it was found in a park
maybe we found it when camping with the wood trailer
mom bought the hitch and trailer for a hundred dollars
I don’t remember when we had the trailer 
or how long we had it
nor do I remember how old we were when the cap was found 
I guess we were less than ten.
I remember her wearing it from then on 
and thinking of her as "The T"
calling her “The T” as a name
associating the cap with her nice face
smiling or serious never mean
her kindness and caring
my sister without whom the world did not exist
I remember all that within the sound of just saying 
The T.
