We like to
We love to
We always
these modifiers imply continuity
perhaps we’re infinite
as in:
"I always drove my kid to school"
but the bus was her grade school ride
nor was I commonly at her senior high
and seldom brought her home.
“I always drove my daughter to school”
refers to the usual mornings of junior high
her seventh and eighth grade years.
"We love to go to the Regattabar for jazz"
though we’ve been 5 times.
"We always meet in Martha’s Exchange at Happy Hour"
fewer times than 10 in 30 years.
