leaving Olympia a charming small town
at the first Rest Area in Washington
each tree is a work of art.
Fun riding up and around Rt. 101 and
a logging truck was banging gears downhill
around the bend there’s trash cut
the best trunks taken from the side of a hill 
the weak lying in tangles
upended exposed to the view.
