Twice Told Tales

Lew and I were in Cambridge
at the Harvard Smithsonian with rooftop views.
Astronomy was a mosquito buzz and January freeze
our home-made tripod with a binocular screw and
Ruth and Lewis with Jupiter’s moons.
It was the Edmund Astroscan on a pvc base
Messier objects and the projection-screen —
not to mention Hawaii’s solar eclipse.
