Andrew’s Tree is an office park crabapple
each year early green buds pass to laden red
we stop there for a remark walking after lunch
Jecko Suroj Chandra and Andrew eat samples
Ling might have one in her yard.
Along an access drive at the Akamai building
after Malini smelled Concord grapes we found a vine
everyone agreed the grapes tasted pretty good.
Suroj found a vine in the yard at his house and
we discovered many more grapes at Akamai.
Those grapes became a pie Dawn baked
tomorrow I’ll take it to Andrew’s cookout
we’re celebrating his deck expansion then.
