My spiritual life is enhanced by my wife
she hears a bird whistle and smiles
also any flower
dahlias “Miss Batemans” impatiens
pots or perennials inside outside winter summer fall
Christmas birthday or any day
cookies bread apple and strawberry pies
pineapple cake — upside down
her crocheted and knitted gifts are lasting beauties
my sweaters are warm classic styles
buttons and love we’re older now
she’s mostly retired but
her spiritual life is young and sweet.
