My spiritual life is tainted with poems and materialism
grandpa Reverend Reed wasn’t likewise infected
he drove a Ford Falcon
economy transportation
as he shrank his preaching suit grew
several sizes too big as were his collar and tie
his final church Refugee Road Presbyterian
wanted amenities including a congregation
he was devout and preached the good news
    Christ Jesus can save you.

That’s just my materialism being mean
of course there’s a Refugee congregation.
