Sundays were for Amherst Motorcycle rides
breakfast at Meeting Place Plaza as soon as we arrived
bagels with cream cheese peppers salmon and chives
omelets with veggies and ham
eggs over easy or up sunny side
apple juice or cranberry orange pineapple
bottomless coffee leather jackets shouldering chairs
chatting about the news weather and where to
everyone outside walking around bikes
showing looking discussing seats gloves helmets and pipes
a late arrival or a couple and everyone on engines single file
lunch several hours later with sweet potato fries
turkey ham haddock coffee ice tea and pie
splitting up herding cats gotta be home by five.
