The Nashua Garden was Thursday night sandwiches
roast beef with ham turkey and tomato
corned beef with pickled hots mustard and mayo
tuna and American cheese on a roll
the beer was fresh from the tap
the Red Sox B’s or
I scanned memorabilia on ceiling and walls
ordered a 2nd beer some weeks some not
wrought iron tables for a cigarette out
wobbly from two beers
bagged at the counter
payed for the takeout and
attempted a straight line to the car.
