A poem can be an Instant Pot
twist the lid and lift it off
pour a cup of water in
take a cereal bowl from the kitchen cupboard
and from the dry goods room
I prefer McCann's steel cut oats.
With a plastic measuring cup
portion oats into the bowl
add filtered water just enough
place the bowl on the trivet in the pot
plug in
push buttons to start at six o'clock.
