There’s a man at the playground with a girl and a boy
the missing woman’s an imagined mystery
is she at home while they play
resting cooking having a smoke on the stoop
visiting her college friend or her mom
or as it happens already dead
is there truly a missing woman or is she divorced
moved away and not ready yet to share her bed
do couples take kids sledding and to the park
these seem a task for you or me
either mom or dad
not both.
